Presentation Formats
The AIS Planning Committee is seeking abstracts for:
- Full-Length Sessions (60 or 30 minutes): Ideal for in-depth discussions, case studies, or interactive workshops.
- Concentrated Presentations (10 minutes): Short, impactful talks showcasing innovative ideas, research, or best practices.
For 60- and 30-minute sessions, priority will be given to proposals that emphasize interactivity and move beyond traditional panel discussions. We encourage formats that foster meaningful, hands-on learning experiences, such as audience engagement and open dialogue, table-based activities, and workshop-style formats.
Key Focus Areas
We encourage abstract proposals that highlight:
- Innovative approaches to education and training
- Effective collaboration between stakeholders
- Outcomes measurement and impact assessment
- Technology integration in medical education
Learning Objective Alignment
The Planning Committee invites submissions from all individuals and strongly encourages industry supporters to contribute by sharing success stories, challenges faced and opportunities for growth and improvement.
Proposed sessions should offer practical strategies aligned with the following learning objectives:
- Discuss the impact of the evolving healthcare, technology, and regulatory landscape on independent medical education
- Learn storytelling techniques to convey the value and impact of independent medical education on clinical care and patient outcomes
- Formulate strategic educational goals by identifying credible, evidence-based needs from a variety of sources
- Strategize ways to build collaborations among internal and external stakeholders that enhance the value of education in the healthcare space
